About Second Chance Plants- White Marsh
A no-frills garden center with a huge selection of healthy, overstock plants from local growers that are up to 50% cheaper than big box stores.
Second Chance Plants- White Marsh is a garden center in Baltimore, Maryland. It is listed at 8165 Honeygo Blvd Ste C, Baltimore, MD 21236, which places it among the local businesses of Baltimore that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.
In Baltimore, garden centers are busiest on spring weekends, when new stock arrives and popular plants sell out; weekday mornings are calmer and staff have more time to answer questions. Ask which plants are hardy for your USDA zone in Maryland, whether trees and shrubs carry a replacement guarantee (one year is common), and whether the nursery delivers and plants large items. Fall is the best planting season for many trees and perennials, and end-of-season sales are common. Many nurseries close or shorten hours in winter, so check the listing for current hours and Google rating before you go.

Baltimore is in Maryland, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Baltimore is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Maryland's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Absolutely embarrassment. I was the only one there an hour after opening and every plant was dead and dry as the desert. Trees on the ground with dirt spilling out and 2 employees just talking. No greeting, no watering, nothing. I went to Lowes instead and found many unsprayed natives...and would you believe it, they were watering the plants!

Awesome staff helped me find the plants and answered all my questions about them. They had plants no one else had in stock.

Well done. Well done. Well done. Well DONE ππΎ I was able to find soooo many affordable veggies, herbs, ornamentals, and flowers that would have severely broken our pockets at the big box stores like Home Depot. I found pretty much everything I needed. I canβt believe the prices on everything. I couldnβt believe the price on the hostas - well, everything. Now, I will say, if you are going to visit during their promotions like we did with Veggie Fest then you HAVE to go the first day. I came back on the last day and it was a drastic difference. So many plants got sold. Which is great but plan carefully. They have trees, native grasses and flowers, shrubs, annuals, perennials, ground-coversβ¦you name it. Iβm thoroughly impressed. We left with over 50 plant starters and only spent less than $205. Update - so I guess not every event is a hardcore budget saver. I guess they were able to do that with the veggie and herb fest because those a small starter plants. We got many for $2.99 but the perennials started at $10.99. I wish there were smaller sized pots of the same plants so people could stretch their dollar farther. Still worth a trip though. I guess it doesnβt hurt to keep goin

Finally found this place. GPS takes you to Old Navy but it's actually behind Kobe's and Ulta. It was freezing yesterday so they didn't have a lot out but they did have some nice perennials and some vegetable plants for about $3.00. I will be going back when it gets warmer. The young woman clerk was super sweet and informative. I told her about the GPS giving the wrong directions and she said they fixed it do hopefully it should be correcting directions soon. I hope they due well and can't wait to see the full array of lands, veggies, trees, and houseplants etc.

Wasnβt sure if I was going to find the place open today after reading the other personβs review but itβs here, obviously open lol, and well stocked for a soft opening. Right behind Kobe just like theyβd advertised. Iβm not sure why the GPS takes you to Old Navy but Iβm not sure I would blame that on the business so if youβre looking for plants come on out!
